Bhavana Issar
Bhavana Issar is now primarily known as the Founder & CEO of a social venture Caregiver Saathi which is a tech-enabled support system for family caregivers who provide long-term home-based care so that they have the peace-of-mind to create memories with their loved ones. She has consulted with WHO and Stanford University for Care and caregiver related topics. She partners with organzations in shaping “Future Fit Corporates” that are Resilient and Innovative by anticipating changes in talent and consumers.
Bhavana is currently in the prestigious international program WomenLift Health and was recently awarded the “Distinguished Alumni” award by her alma mater XLRI School of Business, Jamshedpur.
She identifies as a passionate person with diverse interests. With nearly 28+ years of experience in HR, she is very interested in learning and behavioral sciences, is an Organization consultant in the area of Innovation, Leadership and Organization Development running a boutique consulting firm Sambhaavna.
She is a Fellow and facilitator in Process Work with Sumedhas Academy for Human Context, Gestalt OD Practitioner. She's been a visiting faculty with XLRI, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Udaipur, NMIMS, SP Jain, SPA etc Her story was included in the book by bestselling author Rashmi Bansal – “Touch the Sky: the inspiring stories of women across India who are writing their own destiny”.
Fun fact: she is a motorcyclist, a Limca record holder and believes motorcycling has helped her push the boundaries of the body and mind. She supports women, also to be motorcyclists and realize their dreams. She resides in Mumbai with a husband, teenage daughter and pet. In her leisure time she likes to explore technology and meditates while crocheting. The one thing that deeply bothers her is discrimination, especially gender based.
She identifies as a storyteller and believes that humour has the power to heal and transform. In fact, she has been seriously considering a career as a standup comic soon!
